That’s My Side!
Now I know Tommie and I are not the only husband and wife that fight over sides of the bed. Ok, well let me come clean. We have only been fighting for the last 6 months about it. You see, we just bought this bed and the old bed was against the wall to the left. The TV is on the wall to the right. In the old bed I slept on the left and he slept on the right. After purchasing the new bed we rearranged the bedroom. Since Tommie is bigger than me it is logical for me to sleep on the right so I can see TV. At least that is the way I see it. Now Tommies side is the left and mine is the right. You see his extra pillow there?
Every night I go to get in the bed he is laying in the middle. With his oversized arm on myside. AND WON”T MOVE. He says I stole his side. I tell him to kiss it, it is my side now. I don’t wanna give it back, and I am not.
Honestly, sometimes I dream he would go sleep somewhere else. Just get the hell out of my bed so I can have the whole, big, pillowtop bed all to my itty bitty self. I just want to sprawl out all over it. Then I snap back to reality.
