Alice in Wonderland
I had a chance to go see the Advanced Screening last night of Walt Disney Pictures by Tim Burton “Alice in Wonderland” featuring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. Advances Screening last night. Leandra and I spent mommy/ daughter time together and had a wonderful evening.
The only thing I remember as a kid about Alice in Wonderland was that darn Tom Petty video. I know I saw it but could not even really remember the story line. I was very excited to see it last night. I think the movie was great and not what I expected from Disney. It was not geared for young children. I don’t think a child under 8 will enjoy this movie. I was waiting to hear “You’re late; you’re late, for a very important date.” But never heard the line. The movie was very realistic, thanks to 3D, and I loved the setting and characters. The movie is set in Europe and Alice tries to make since of her dreams that lead her to her destiny and ultimately helps her make reasonable decisions in her real life. Alice in Wonderland is a must see for 2010. The movie opens on Thursday at midnight. Make sure you get your ticket. Check out Alice in Wonderland Trailer.
