Las Vegas Vacations
I think we will be revisiting Las Vegas this year. Last year for my hubbys birthday, we had a great time.
We got a really great deal for our 3 day 2 night trip to Las Vegas. We stayed at the MGM Grand. It was like heaven. This was the first vacation I had ever taken without the kids. The MGM Grand was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable. I actually upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi tub which was a total waste of money. The room was beautiful and the tub was great but we were never in the room. I totally did not expect that.
There are many Las Vegas buffets, some are not as good as others. The MGM Grand has a great breakfast buffet. When we go back we will make sure we stop at the MGM Grand for breakfast. The food was fresh and there was a large assortment. We also ate at the Bellagio lunch buffet. It was OK. Not what I expected. We stood in a long line to be seated and the buffet food seemed to be average.
We also visited a lot of the other hotels. The artistry of the Venetian is gorgeous. Very breath taking. I could have walked around the Venetian all day. I wish the weather was prettier when we visited. (It was rainy and cold.) There would have been so many picture opportunities at the Venetian, inside and out. Another one of my favorite hotels in Vegas was the New York New York. If it would not have been raining I would have rode the roller-coaster that runs on the outside of the hotel. I have never been to the real New York, but felt like it was well interpreted. I love that on the inside there are shops like you would see on the streets.
Oh, don’t let me forget about the slot machines. I could not pull my hubby away from the. For me, I had a secret attraction to the penny and nickle slots. I hate to lose money and when playing those slots it takes a long time to go thru a very little amount of money.
I will be looking to book Las Vegas for this year again. I probably won’t stay at the MGM Grand so I can experience another one of the great hotels.
